Tactics

Fish the pier end two hours either side of high water for the best of the deep-water species - rays, hounds and conger on stronger tackle. The rocky groynes to the east towards Aldwick are worth a session with lures for bass. Big baits fished hard on the bottom after dark account for most of the better conger and ray catches here.
