A small town beach, useful alongside the adjacent Jubilee Pool lido.
Fishing
Wherrytown forms the western section of the Penzance Promenade mark and shares its bass, pollack, pouting, dogfish, huss, flatfish, whiting and summer pelagic potential. The shingle and mixed ground differ from Battery Rocks, so page tactics should emphasise bottom fishing and short-range surf or wall work.
Crabbing
unknown — No safe family line-crabbing zone was verified.
