Family

One of North Cornwall's best family beaches, thanks to the large natural rockpool that's safe even at high tide.

Fishing

Treyarnon combines a west-facing sandy surf beach with kelp-fringed rocks. Bass use rolling surf and beach gutters; turbot and occasional rays take baits over clean ground. Wrasse and pollack hold around the headlands, while summer mackerel, garfish and scad may move close to the points. Whiting and dogfish appear on colder or darker sessions.

Species reported: Bass, Turbot and small-eyed ray, Wrasse and pollack, Mackerel, garfish and scad, Whiting and dogfish

Crabbing

rock pooling only — The natural tidal pool and rock pools provide strong family wildlife exploration, but no specific hook-free line-crabbing permission and stable edge assessment was verified.
