Fishing

Sutton-on-Sea's shallow sandy beaches are documented for flounder, dab and plaice on worm baits, with winter codling and whiting and summer bass. Rough or recently disturbed conditions can bring feeding fish closer; calmer shallow conditions may require longer casts. Dogfish, sole and occasional ray or smoothhound are possible across the wider Mablethorpe–Sutton coast but should be presented as occasional rather than core targets.
