Barton's Point is the easiest option - park right up on the sea wall and cast into the estuary current, best for flounder and small bass. Walk further towards Garrison Point for deeper, faster water and a better shot at turbot and bull huss, especially over the ebb when bait gets carried past. It's an exposed estuary mouth, so pick calmer conditions and keep an eye on shipping movements in and out of the Thames.
