Local angling guidance identifies the cleaner ground changing to rockier areas between Sandgate and Folkestone, with good bass potential from May through August. The wider Hythe Bay species mix includes whiting and dab in winter and bass, flounder, eel and sole in warmer months, but page copy should distinguish Granville Parade from the Folkestone Mole.
