A small, sheltered 300m bay on the Solway coast at the mouth of the Urr Estuary, on the Jubilee Path walking route between Rockcliffe and Kippford. Water quality had been rated Poor for years before a 2021 Scottish Water treatment upgrade at Kippford improved it.

Water quality: Sufficient

Hazards: Historically classified Poor (pre-2021) due to septic tank discharge at nearby Kippford; a temporary chemical-dosing treatment installed for the 2021 season onward improved quality, but current live classification not confirmed in initial pass.
