Family
Town-side access and nearby services make this comparatively straightforward, subject to tide and water-quality advice.
Fishing
Current exact research identifies the rocky margins, particularly toward St Catherine's side, as the useful zones rather than the central family sand. Wrasse, pollack and mullet are the main light-tackle prospects, with garfish, mackerel and scad in summer and bass possible when colour or swell reaches the cove.
Species reported: Wrasse and pollack, Mullet, Garfish, mackerel and scad, Bass
Crabbing
rock pooling only — Readymoney has tidal rock pools. Fowey's verified crabbing spots are Albert Quay Steps pontoon, Passage Street slipway, Caffa Mill and Polruan Quay; these are separate zones with boat and drop risks.
Access & parking
Access is from the seafront, harbour or town-side approach serving Readymoney Cove. Confirm current parking controls and any works or event closures.
