Hazards: Small stream crossing the beach; rocks at the northern end covered at high tide.

Dogs

Cornwall Council's official beach-dog page names Poldhu Beach, Mullion specifically, with dogs prohibited between 10am and 6pm from 1 July to 31 August; outside those hours and dates dogs are permitted.

Family

Sandy, gently shelving cove with RNLI lifeguards in season, a stream and rockpools for children, and a beach café — a strong family beach on the Lizard.

Fishing

The surrounding Lizard coast has established bass and rock fishing, but adequate exact Poldhu species and tactics evidence was not found in this pass. Keep detailed fishing unverified rather than importing Mullion or Church Cove claims.

Crabbing

not verified for line crabbing — Low-water exploration may be possible, but no stable family line-crabbing zone was verified.
