Fishing

Mawgan Porth is a productive surf beach with a river mouth and rocky corners. Bass use rolling surf and the Menalhyl outflow, flatfish and small-eyed ray feed over clean sand, mullet use quiet river margins and summer mackerel, garfish, pollack and wrasse appear around the rocky ends.
