Water quality: Good

Lifeguard: Seasonal patrols operate at some principal resort beaches; confirm the exact current dates and zones.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on a lead in the mapped Kinmel Bay beach zone from 1 May to 30 September, and on the sand dunes throughout the year.

Estuary beaches and channel edges can support bass, flounder and mullet, with whiting and dogfish in colder or darker periods.
