Gorran Haven (Little Perhaver)

A small, quiet sand-and-shingle cove under steep cliffs just north of Gorran Haven's main village beach, reachable via steps or, at low tide, on foot around the headland — no facilities of its own.

Family

Charming small cove but no facilities, steep steps down from the village, and only fully separate from the main beach at higher states of the tide — better for older children than toddlers.

Fishing

The harbour trust documents local and junior fishing traditions, while current secondary research identifies the stone pier as the exact shore zone. Light fishing can produce mackerel, scad, pollack, wrasse, pouting and bass, commonly on the flood through high water. Boat-competition catches remain contextual, not pier catches.
