Family
Big, open sandy beach and dunes popular for rock-pooling and seal-spotting from the headland, but limited on-beach facilities compared to Hayle Towans further along.
Fishing
The Godrevy surf beach shares St Ives Bay's mobile sand and gutter fishing for bass, flatfish, whiting, turbot and small-eyed ray. Godrevy Point and lighthouse-facing ledges are a separate advanced rock fishery for pollack, wrasse, bass, pouting and summer pelagics. The public page must not present the beach and exposed headland as one beginner mark.
Species reported: Bass, Small-eyed ray, turbot and flatfish, Whiting, Pollack and ballan wrasse, Mackerel, garfish and scad
Crabbing
rock pooling only — Low-water pools are suitable for supervised wildlife exploration, but no stable permitted family line-crabbing edge was verified. Seal and intertidal habitat protection takes priority.
