Tactics
Gunsgreen Point is the go-to summer mark for mackerel, with pollack, wrasse and coalfish as year-round staples. For winter cod, head south out of town or north past St Abbs for bigger fish, using crab baits over the rough ground for the resident wrasse and cod.
