Fishing

Crimdon is a shallow sandy beach best known for winter codling and whiting when coloured water, suitable seas and low-water access coincide. The lowest spring tides expose the useful banks and gutters, and distance casting is often needed. Peeler crab is particularly useful from late summer into autumn, with lugworm and ragworm the dependable alternatives through colder periods.
