Family

Calm, gently-shelving, sandy and sheltered — one of the best family/paddling beaches in south-east Cornwall, with a wheelchair/pushchair-friendly slipway.

Fishing

Current exact research describes clean sand in the centre and rocky margins at each end. Summer and early autumn support light fishing for bass, mackerel, garfish, scad, wrasse and pollack; whiting and pouting are reported in colder or darker sessions.
