Tactics
Ballycastle beach is a solid all-rounder with flounder, turbot, coalfish, whiting and the chance of bass and sea trout, especially in summer. Sandeel fished just behind the breakers has taken sea trout. For bigger sport, the headlands either side of the beach give excellent pollack fishing to spinners and lures.
